***LAC is the Legislative Action Committee of the RWSC (Republican Women of Sheridan County). Below is the main message showing our position and reasons why we support or oppose a bill.
· This bill needs to be opposed as it provides special rules for certain banks or depository institutions.
· This bill gives the commissioner way too much authority. This is not a WY state agency in which these people are allowed to make their own policy.
· This bill provides favoritism to an emerging, unproven industry over established financial institutions.
· This bill clearly picks winners and losers and is against the Wyoming Republican Platform.
· This bill allows organizations to be formed WITHOUT the requirement of five board members as stated in W.S. 13-2-201.
