SF0021-Wyoming Stable Token-Amendments

***LAC is the Legislative Action Committee of the RWSC (Republican Women of Sheridan County).  Below is the main message showing our position and reasons why we support or oppose a bill.  

We oppose SF0021 Wyoming Stable Token amendments for the following reasons:

· These amendments allow the Wyoming Stable Token Trust account to receive funds through donations, gifts and bequests without providing reasons, uses or accounting for the funds.

· These amendments are vague and need greater public scrutiny.

· The Wyoming Stable Token does not provide public revenue or loss projections, nor is there a due date for when public funds will be reimbursed per the original statute. 

· These amendments change the investments allowed, and reserve requirements, increasing the risk of loss to public funds.

· I oppose this bill as it changes the original statute without sufficient reasons and limits public scrutiny over the public funds.
